Do you plan on reading as well? If so, learn Hiragana and Katakana as soon as possible, and then try to start learning Kanji afterwards (do not try to memorize it by kanji, as they have multiple readings, instead try to learn by the word).

Yeah, that's my intention. Reading and speaking Japanese is one of the things I've always wanted to do, but I haven't got any time to do this. I'll follow your advice and see if I can advance. Not rush, I know speaking a language is a slow task. But I'll do my best! :P
