So before I begin, here's a quick layout of my condo complex:

My condo is right where the * is so as you can see there is no immediate exit to the street (sorry for the bad ACII art, the space you drive is the blank area that Exit is written in).  There are still building this place so right now they're working on the building in front of me and finishing up the building behind me so there's often construction crew there.  Every now and then my way out gets blocked and that's fine.  I just find someone and they move the car or whatever is blocking the way.  Never actually had a problem before.

Today, they were just asses.

I went home for lunch today because I didn't have time to make my lunch this morning.  When I pulled into my garage I saw they were getting ready to lay the foundation but they're on the dirt so I figured I was fine.  I walk into my home, make a sandwich, and decide to just stay home and watch TV during lunch.  When I leave I notice a large cement truck right where the C blocking the entire way out for the four homes that live in the little area I live in and about half the homes on the East side.

I pull out of my garage and luckily there was someone walking by and even luckier he understood English (not being racist, come to Texas and you know what I mean).  I ask him kindly if he could please get the truck moved so I could get out.  He asks me if I can just go out the other way and I look behind me (I knew there wasn't a way) and tell him there is no other way.

Also, I should note that they actually hadn't started laying the cement yet, they had just set up when I pulled out of the garage (while I haven't laid a foundation before, I have done some light construction and even used a cement truck before).  It was no problem to just move the truck back four feet.

He grumbles, whistles at his guys to move the truck.  They kind of look at him, look behind me like they think there's an exit, and then keeps working completely ignoring me sitting there.  The guy then starts walking away as his guys kept working (he was eying the lunch truck nearby) so I get out, get his attention, and asks to please make his guys move since it was clear they had no intention of moving.

At this point I imagine the guy saw that I was wearing some old T-Shirt, probably looked like I had just gotten out of bed (I washed my face and got my hair a bit wet before going out), old shorts, old sandals, and figured I just wanted to go to the mall instead of actually going back to work.  He says to me look kid, we have actual important work to do.

Doing everything I can to keep from exploding I calmly ask him so you don't think I'm important? to which he replies No.

Still calm, I ask him how if he's building homes for unimportant people then why his work would be considered important and he just looks at me confused for a few seconds and then grumbles as he walks towards his workers.  He argues with his workers for a minute, stop laying the cement that they had started by the time he finally got to them and finished arguing, and they finally move the truck enough to let me out.

And people wonder why I hate people.
