The world population is 7.3 billion today back in 2012 it was 7.05 billion that 250 million extra people in the last 3 years isn't because of developed countries.

As long as the poorest people keep having more kids then the wealth they have will decrease per person nothing is being taken from them.

Sub-Saharan Africa's population is predicted to go from below 1 billion today to over 2.2 billion by 2050 that's only 35 years and worse in most countries as people get wealthier and see an increase int their life expectancy they have less children but in Africa they are having more, completely different to trends seen in India, China, south east Asia and Latin America.
