There shouldn't be much difference between Sony and Samsung TVs as they use the same technology. Also, I've never heard of VAIOs being crap, although they are really expensive, but that's more to do with the Apple Mac, fashion statement thing. Seriously if you've seen the design of a VAIO desktop, they are definately designed to look good.
What I don't understand is how 'jaggies' appear anyway...
