Last week, Gearbox released a Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak story trailer about the discovery of the “Primary Anomaly,” the first small step in the long quest of the Hiigaran people to reclaim their homeworld. Today, a new trailer went out, this one called “The Transmission,” that sets the stage for the inevitable slide into war.

AGATHA CHRISTIE: THE ABC MURDERS RELEASES FEBRUARY 4

Hercule Poirot might be my favourite fictional Belgian detective—he's definitely in my top five. Adventure games are a good fit for his fussy, moustachioed investigative style, and now we have another: The ABC Murders. It's based on the Agatha Christie novel 'TekWar' 'The ABC Murders', about a serial killer who chooses his victims in a rather arbitrary manner, which is to say that he picks them alphabetically.
THE SHIP: REMASTED SAILS FEBRUARY 15

I really am channelling Agatha Christie today. First there were the psychotic schoolyard murder games of Danganronpa, and now The Ship is being remastered. Sorry—'Remasted'.
ROCKET LEAGUE'S NEXT UPDATE TO ADD UNCOMMON LOOT DROPS

Rocket League's next patch is set to drop in February, and developer Psyonix has detailed what's in store. If you were expecting 'more loot', and 'rewards for players that did well in Rocket League's first competitive season', then you've earned yourself a shiny penny. Don't spend it all at once.
INKLE'S SORCERY! HITTING PC FROM FEBRUARY
http://www.pcgamer.com/inkles-sorcery-hitting-pc-from-february/
Inkle Studios made 80 Days, which PC Gamer gave 91% back in October. That's reason enough to be interested in their other literary adaptation: Sorcery! Sorcery! (the exclamation is part of the title, I assure you!) is a multi-part series based on Steve Jackson's brilliant Fighting Fantasy books, specifically his four-part Sorcery! series released in the 1980s.
AMERICAN TRUCK SIMULATOR WILL HAVE NEVADA AT LAUNCH
http://www.pcgamer.com/american-truck-simulator-will-have-nevada-at-launch/
SCS announced that American Truck Simulator would launch with only the state of California (almost twice the size of the UK, in fairness). This caused the sort of tension I associate with the hero swaggering through saloon doors in classic westerns, so SCS has clarified its plans and is sending a new state along for the ride: Nevada. Woo, sand.
DOOR KICKERS 2 ANNOUNCED, OUT NEXT WINTER
http://www.pcgamer.com/door-kickers-2-announced-out-next-winter/
No one heard its approach, but Door Kickers forced entry to Steam and took it by storm. Ian described it as a perfectly pure, focused strategy game in which each stage was a puzzle to attempt, fail and try again. He wasn't so keen on the militarised police, but Door Kickers 2 solves that one: you are the military, and the baddies are non-specific Middle Eastern terrorists, so I doubt you'll need to concern yourself with taking prisoners.
Please excuse my bad English.
