Wow, some of the questions here are weird. Some of them sound like they should be minus questions, haha.

Also, I only have a Wii U, so I can only judge that console...

Oh please, a lot of people judge consoles without any first hand experience. Worse, we've had "Nintendo needs to fix this" threads that were bringing up things that had already been fixed.

So judge away, Cloudman.

Haha, alright then. I'll give this a shot then. I'll break it down.

1. Price - How much do the companies charge gamers for their hardware?

Nintendo 3/5 - Not too bad, not so great either.
Microsoft 2/5 - Not too bad a price, but it pretty much sealed their fate this gen.
Sony 4/5 - Agree here, not perfect, but enough to beat MS.

2. First party content - Quality and quantity.

Nintendo 4/5 - Considering the situation they were in, they delivered very well. Despite a few stinkers, they really did well on their end, managing to old a console almost on their own.
Microsoft 2/5 - It's okay I guess..? I don't know what their big titles are besides Halo.
Sony 3/5 - It's okay I guess..? I don't really know so well what their first party games are. I'm sure they'll provide a good amount with time.

3. Third party content - Quality and quantity.

Nintendo 2/5 - Rather terrible. Nintendo is only lucky they have some support on the 3DS, but that is even starting to fall.
Microsoft 3/5 - It's there, but not much to say on it.
Sony 5/5 - Sony has that in spades.

4. Multiplayer - Online and offline.

Nintendo 5/5 - Ninten has done excellently on this, keeping alive the cotch MP moments and having great online as well.
Microsoft 3/5 - They have good online, but don't know about their offline.
Sony 3/5 - Same as for Microsoft.

5. Storage that comes with the system - HDDs, SSDs, SD cards etc.

Nintendo 1/5 - Dreadful. Don't know what Ninten was thinking with 32 gigs only. Get it together next time Ninten.
Microsoft 4/5 - Good. Better than Ninten for sure.
Sony 3/5 - Good, but the Vita and its cards seems to be a big issue.

6. Failure to live up to promises - How hard did the companies fail?

Nintendo 3/5 - I felt Ninten didn't do as much with the tablet, but they did provide some cool uses for it. If anyone fails to deliver on cool uses for the tablet, it's 3rd party.
Microsoft 3/5 - Actually, I don't know what MS tried to deliver with their console...
Sony 3/5 - I guess Sony is delivering on their promises? Though I haven't been given a reason to buy a PS4 yet though.

7. Gimmick-factor - How worthless are the things that were supposed to be selling points?

Nintendo 3/5 - The gamepad is a really cool device which got some use from Ninten, but ends up being lost potential. 3D however, didn't seem very useful for the 3DS
Microsoft 5/5 - Yeah, I agree. The kinect was removed and feels like a forgotten memory.
Sony 4/5 - While the touch pad seems useful at times on the Vita, it seems pointless on the controller. Don't know why they bothered adding that.

8. Industry-friendliness - How good are the console manufacturers for the industry? Who does a good job at leading the cattle to the slaughterhouse?

Nintendo 3/5 - I think Ninten is being rather friendly with the community. They price a lot of their DLC rather well and sometimes just give dlc for free.
Microsoft 4/5 - Seeing how much they changed from the beginning shows they're willing to change things around to win back the hearts of the consumers.
Sony 4/5 - Yeah, Sony is pretty much doing good for 3rd parties, so that means more games for their fanbase. So yeah, that seems good. Though minus a point for their new required paid online service. That is just gross sony. Shame on you.

9. Public relations - How goofy has the PR department been?

Nintendo 5/5 - The things Nintendo does to sell their console. Reggie and Bill can have their own comedy show.
Microsoft 3/5 - I dunno... they seem rather stiff. If anything, I dunno if they are doing such a good job.
Sony 3/5 - Yeah, they seem stiff as well. Though it doesn't matter. They have 3rd parties in the bag.

10. Exploitation of the most loyal fans - Despite all shenanigans, do these people still love their favorite companies?

Nintendo 2/5 - I guess amiibo...? I don't really see them exploiting their base.
Microsoft 1/5 - I dunno if MS has really done that at all...
Sony 3/5 - That online paid subscription...

So in total...

Nintendo - 31?

MS - 30?

Sony - 35?

Somehow I felt I did this wrong...
