I think that they should do a Gamecube esque; i.e. a simple great controller and competitive specs
I honestly think their system would garner a ton of third party support and sell very well if they do this. enough of the 'non hardcore' gaming sort of aim. I mean I get that they are popular among casual 'play with your friends' sort of gamers but that doesn't mean they have to have a stupid controller or a system that caters to Animal Crossing
the Gamecube is a great example of a system with a lot of the family friendly party games as WELL as having some of the best graphical games of its generation that appealed tdo all ages (Wind Waker, Rogue Squadron II, Metroid Prime, etc.)
if they want to be creative thats fine but just give us a great regular controller (Gamecube one is perfect and still used) and some competitive technology. Nintendo can do whatever they want so please just DO IT
