Yes and No. I love what Wii is doing by introducing video games to a broader audience but saddened that it's causing a divid between 'core' and 'casual' games.

Part of that problem is the very term casual gamer. I'm not at all casual about gaming. I read reviews, pick my games with care and play them hard. I'm a passionate gamer looking for a casual experience. In other words, I'm time constrained. I don't have time or interest in games that have a steep learning curve or demand many hours of intense concentrated gameplay to appreciate.I have never found a Wii game yet that I had to look up control. I can put the disk in and in minutes I'm having fun. I'm looking for recreation and relaxation not competition or intensity of experience. I know that there are those that want that complete immersion and more power to them. You have two excellent consoles to fill your needs.

Please just don't dismiss me as a casual ( read wussy, lame, retarded) gamer. I care as much about my gaming experience as you do. I'm just looking for a different experience, one that fits my interests, ability and busy schedule.
