The user base for every console will be higher now than it was 12 months ago, be it Wii U or Ps4 or Xbox one, ergo its common logic to assume they will sell more software on a platform, and set a 'record breaking month', if they didnt sell more software with a larger userbase then that would be an absolute disaster.
Heres my prediction next year, these platforms will also break records (SHOCK), though perhaps the NX will launch and then the Wii U perhaps not as people will migrate from the Wii U to the NX but definietly the XBox One and PS4 Dec 2016 will sell more software than Dec 2015
