If there was only one console format that nobody owned and anybody could manufactor consoles for, this would only be more benificial to consumers, ie. everybody has access to every game. No Sony gamers, no Microsoft gamers. Just gamers. True that exclusives are needed to perpetuate the format divide, but that's not to say that the format divide is worth perpetuating in the first place. |
