Breaking news: people mostly jump onto forums and speak passionately online if something directly affects them in a negative manner (or in a supremely positive manner). For video games, this includes people who may not care for a particular genre of game (in this case, fighting games) but do not like the company involved (in this case, Sony) and do not want to see them get another feather in their proverbial cap. Comes down to "I don't want to buy another system to play a game I love! This is BS and I'm scared it will kill the franchise!" intermingled with "Doesn't this piss you off? Aren't these companies just so fucking evil? Click here for an online petition to show our numbers and spite that accursed religion...er, platform."
