So I finished Mass Effect 3 for the first time. I never bought it till now after I heard of how "poor" it was compared to 1 and 2. But it was 5$, so why not? Now the gameplay itself was pretty good. The gunplay was far better than ME1 or ME2 (though I still hate that we had ammo through ME2 and ME3). And I enjoyed the story itself, though I won't go into details.

I felt the game had adaquate choice. Granted, there were limits, like I could choose whether to choose the geth or quarian's, and renegade and paragon did feel imporant as well. However, as an RPG, it was far more limited than the original Mass Effect, something that I complained about the 2nd one as well. But it was still pretty fun to play (and you can still punch reporters XD). It didn't feel like any less of a game than ME2, and I felt the ending wasn't too bad. Granted, you only had 3 choices ("4" with extended cut, but why bother with that ending), at least you could dictate what you want.  And unless you put effort into the game (getting EMS), you probably wouldn't get what you desired. Now I ended up destroying the reaper's, but since I saved anderson from the illusive man (he still dies), and had enough EMS (just over 4k), I destroyed the reaper's, and I saved myself (well, at least he was breathing :P).

Now maybe I was never into the lore enough to see what was wrong, but I felt it was a great game. The ending was meh, but I enjoyed it alot. It was a solid 8/10, and I feel excited for andromina. So do I have bad taste? Or do you agree, and think the majority is wrong?

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
