I'm not sure what you are insinuating.  Having a shower with a friend is not consenting to sex. Most rapes happen when things go too far, it is still rape.
I would not be comfortable calling the south african police either in her position. But that might just be my skewed view of that region of the world.

would you get into a shower naked with someone if you didnt intend to have sex with them? or would your better judgement tell you it isnt a good idea?

Is it likely the guy will get the wrong idea from showering together? Yes. Does it mean that after initiating sexual contact and being told no that he has a right to carry on and rape her? No. She's still the victim of a sex crime and that's all there is to it. When a woman says no then it doesn't matter what has happened before you stop. The lack of wisdom of her actions does not cancel out the fact that she was raped, assuming the story as she tells it is the truth, which we have know way of verifying, but we should not automatically leap to the conclusion she's a lying slapper. From the position we're in we should allow that her version of events may be true and let the police and the courts investigate and come to a legal conclusion on the matter.
