More than 35 million PS4's now ????!!!!! This is incridble! this is good for ALL console-gamer! its good for the games-industry!

I still don't understand your reasoning.

As to the second part of the bolded, I think it's something along the lines of when the leading platform is one where 3rd parties sell a lot of games, then the games industry as a whole stands to enjoy the good times, as opposed to the Wii generation, where the leading platfrom was really only a boon for one company: Nintendo.

However it could be argued that a generation where Xbox has a huge lead would amount to the same thing, because Xbox supports high sales / attach rates for 3rd party games too.

And before people get too precious about Wii and 3rd parties, it's worth noting that the top selling 3rd party game on Wii is Just Dance 3, released in 2011 (i.e. late in the generation) with sales (on VGC) of 10.19 million. PS4 already has a 3rd party game that has sold more than JD3 on Wii (CoD of course). So for the most part, 3rd parties should be more optimistic about their 8th gen prospects than they possibly would be if Wii U was on top.

As to the first part of the bolded, I'm really not sure how Sony being so on top is good for Wii U gamers. Could perhpas be that it's forcing Nintendo to try harder and Wii U gamers are getting some solid gaming experiences like Splatoon and Bayonetta 2 (though I think Bayo 2 was a done deal before Wii U was confiemd as a relative sales failure and certainly before PS4 was crowned the gen 8 winner virtually from day 1 of PS4's launch). It could be argued that Nintendo might not have bothered trying to create anything new and fresh if Wii U was selling Wii levels based on recycling of generations old franchises, and carry overs of the motion control franchises created in the 7th gen.
