Bad luck, usually Nintendo consoles are pretty resilient... I'm impressed by the quantity of Wii failures I saw in this thread, wouldn't expect it.

Please show me Hard evidence of 7 new ps2 broken because I have serious doubts of the kind of abuse someone would have to put to destroy this many console in a gen.
Even more when failure rate of ps2 is nowhere close to rrod on first version of X360.

Yep, pretty classy. claim you had 3 failures and some others were so high as 7 and you have 0 evidence but preffer to give a smartass answer?? Do you have any reason to put the claim when the thread is only about your failed consoles? And have you had only sony consoles or only the sony consoles you had failed?

not sure what your issue is. The ps2 did have an abysmal failure rate, they even got sued over it at one point, I would actually think it wasn't that much better than the original 360's failure rate. 7 is high but certainly believable.
