Original hardware hooked up to SDTV. I have a good CRT that has a flat display with s-video, composite, and component inputs, and great color. The only two games I have ever gotten on VC instead of original are Earthbound (because it was free) and Super Mario Bros. Lost Levels (because it was never released in 8-bit form in the US).
