Possibly, but as some others have mentioned, it was probably much more expensive for Oculus to develop and make the Rift than PSVR is for Sony.
Sony already makes pretty much all of the components that went into PSVR. They make OLED screens, the make high end optics, the camera for it has been out and on sale for two years, ect. So theoretically, it could cost quite a bit less.
