Sigh, the game is output as 720p, next time you play the game check the source resolution of your TV and you'll see for your self it's 720p.

The 576p resolution stuff going around the net is only the internal frame buffer , which gets internally scaled to 720p before leaving your PS3 (which is something you wouldn't have known if it wasn't for Quaz51), so as long as you have your PS3 set to output 720p and up, then the game will be output at 720p.

The only time the game will be output at 576 is if you set your tv to only output at the minmum resolution which is 576 and that's if you have it plugged into a CRT tv.

 


 Who fucking cares what the signal output is? It's rendered at "576p". That's why the game is so incredibly soft, to the point of making things difficult to pick out (though you can also blame that on poor art and textures), hence the whole reason for me bitching in the first place.

It renders at 1024x576 and is then scaled and output at 720p, resulting in a very soft and bland image that can't even come close to matching the screenshots released to the press. Does that satisfy your nitpicking bullshit?
