Yes.

Yes.

Maybe? But it's not anything that's been announced yet, and it would be tough to make it work if there was.

If you can't decide on which to go with, a good place to start would be seeing if your PC can run the Rift.

About halfway down you'll see something that says "Oculus Compatibility Tool" you can download it and it will tell you if your PC will work.

Overall, I think Oculus will see faster support for non gaming aspects of VR and will evolve faster than PSVR will. But, it will also be more expensive and I expect Sonys exclusives to be better.

Sonys VR wont be PC compatible? Is this confirmed somewhere? Big misstep for Sony if true.

Not a misstep. Certainly not a big one. With a successful PS VR the PS4 becomes an even more important pivotal point for development of videogames and VR content in general. As a reminder: Sony is planing to sell PS VR at break even, making only or mainly money with software. Not to speak when it's not going as planned, and they're forced to reduce prices, selling it at a loss. Thus, it'd be a mistake if Sony makes it compatible, because they would only lose money with every PS VR HMD hooked up to a PC, not gaining anything.
