It's a real shame the development of technology has not gone hand in hand with people becoming realistic about their origins. We now face a future where people who have been indoctrinated into believing the most banal and ridiculous stories as truth make decisions about the life's of those who think rationally. Often those decisions are to destroy those who don't or won't believe such stories. You can see countries where those who don't believe have to hide their lack of faith to prevent their own destruction and others understand how to exploit such communities to rape and kill and then play the religion card to protect themselves from punishment. It seems corruption and religion go hand and hand.
Religion is a disease of the mind.
Sorry I have a hugely negative view of religion. I've been on this planet almost 50 years and have rejected religion for about 37 years now. I just feel our problems won't get sorted if people are corrupted by religion and people can justify any action or inaction if their so called god commands it.
