Hard for me to decide since I liked Generations, Sonic Heroes and the daytime levels of Unleashed. Older games I'd also like to see more of in a new Sonic game would take elements from Sonic & Knuckles but also Sonic CD (seriously loved the past,present and future aspects along with the game's OST and animated intro/outro).
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
