on consoles, yes. Halo has only been impressive because it's a console shooter. You can share replays. That's awesome. l |
Ah, the wonders of PC gaming. It's like gaming IN THE FUTURE!
OT though, I would love to see games rated on a 5 star system, with no half stars given. 5 = must-own, 4 = good game, 3 = average typical game, 2 = poor game, 1 = stay the hell away. With a 100 point scale (decimals), the grading becomes extremely arbitrary in my opinion. What exactly is the difference between an 8.7 and an 8.8? Not to mention when you start giving out 10s to games that don't necessarily deserve them, how the hell do you score games that come out later that are better than said game? A 5 star system would fix that problem easily. 5/5 stars would mean a must-own, great game that was a lot of fun to play, with few flaws (or flaws that were easily overlooked). It wouldn't mean that it was a perfect game.
And it's good to see that MGS4 got a 10/10, even if it was OPM. I'm so excited for the game, I wouldn't know what to think if the game got anything less than a 9.
