With the upcoming release of Final Fantasy IX on the PC, we decided to go ahead and take a look at the sales of all Final Fantasy games on Steam. After all, Square Enix has embraced the PC platform, so time to see whether the rumoured Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy XV are worth – financially – coming to the PC.

 

ELEX – OPEN WORLD ACTION RPG FROM THE CREATORS OF RISEN – FIRST SCREENSHOTS + MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

The official Steam store page for ELEX went live, revealing some new screenshots for this open world action RPG, as well as its PC minimum requirements. ELEX is described as the most ambitious project for Piranha Bytes and Nordic Games to date, and is scheduled for an early 2017 release.

 

TOM CLANCY’S RAINBOW SIX: SIEGE – UPDATE 1.2 NOW AVAILABLE, BREAKS SLI SUPPORT

Ubisoft has released a new patch for the PC version of Rainbow Six: Siege. According to the release notes, this patch sets player’s position update rate to 60 times per second in order to improve positioning and shooting replication. However, this patch also completely broke SLI support.

 

DOOM – NEW STUNNING SCREENSHOTS SHOW THE POWER OF THE ID TECH 6 ENGINE

Bethesda has released a new set of screenshots for DOOM. DOOM is powered by the id Tech 6 Engine, and these latest screenshots actually show better visuals than those showcased a while back. DOOM looks beautiful. Moreover, color grading seems to be toned down too, which is a big plus in our opinion.

BEST BUY HINTS AT AN APRIL 26TH RELEASE FOR MAFIA III

The first rumour is about Mafia 3’s release date. Although 2K Games has not stated yet any release date (other than it will be coming in 2016), Best Buy claimed that the game will be out on April 26th.

 

RUMOUR – DOOM TO BE RELEASED ON JUNE 30TH ACCORDING TO AMAZON FRANCE

According to Amazon France, id Software’s new FPS will be released on June 30th.

It appears that Target has leaked the release date for Homefrnt: The Revolution. XboxAchievements has received an image, showing a reservation card for Homefront: The Revolution that reveals a May 17th release.
