I think it is more the online community and the gaming mags. I tried to star a casual/alternative gaming blog a while back, and could't get people on it. I start one of hardcore wii stuff (like 900,000 other sites) and I get (what I think is) a solid 50 hits a day. Go figure.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
