Inform does not equal Promote. I think in this case their possible place of origin is very important to the bigger debate about the immigrant influx.

There are, sadly, an awful lot of men's violence against women in Europe. In my country, 800 women were murdered in the last 13 years by their couples. The number of assaults and male violence is... unbearable. When one case is shown on the Spanish media, it's common that when it's commited by a non-Spanish person, this is noted on the headline. It's not a racial problem, it's much more than that. I don't really get the need to note the "appearance" of the people, if it's not to promote xenophobia. You could say "Men commit mass sexual assault in Germany", and that's it. These people deserve all the punishment they could get, regardless of their race.
