His platform is xenophobia and his "policies" (they are so vague I hesitate to even call them that) are entirely self-serving. The only reason people are talking about him at all is because he keeps shouting insane things for bigots and morons to rally around. Thus far, he's flip-flopped multiple times, defended violence against people who disagree with him, and we're just left to wonder just how far he's going to push his fascist doctrine.
He's pretty much the embodiment of everything Socrates thought wrong about democracy and the Second Amendment was likely drafted in the event that somebody like him rises into power. But at least he's firebombing the GOP and exposing it to the People for what it truly is. Trump could very well be the end of the Republican Party, so cheers to silver linings and all that.
