History, and logic. Again, you only need look at all the deals MicroSony makes with third party publishers. If the PC market were as big a competitor or nearly as big as PS4, then Microsoft would have had longer than a 2 month exclusive window for Tomb Raider. Two months for PC, twelve months for PS4. Makes sense. And Sony would have made sure SFV never came to PC. But they don't care. It won't impact the massive sales it will get on PS4. You can go on and on. The original Tomb Raider deal Sony signed to make the franchise Playstation exclusive. On consoles anyway. There were still PC versions.
And I'm glad you think you're in the overlap. You're also a hardcore gamer, so you're far more inclined to be in that overlap. But understand you're still a big minority.
