Nah, you're trying saving face with that "everyone" comment, but that's fine. Not really a big deal. In any event, much of what you say is based on opinion, which isn't what I was after. You're harping on the word "context" for no reason at all. Yes, without it, it's meaningless to call a game a flop or success, unless the company makes it abundantly clear (which isn't what's happening here). Is Halo 5 a flop at 1 million? I don't know. Is it a success? I still don't know, because I don't know what the expectations were. All I can do is assume. Context, my dear Watson. |
You kind of confirmed what i said so far.All i did in my assertions so far was assuming. If you were to review what i said, i always said that " is a good guess to say that the game have at least not flopped".Im not saying it did for certain, but im assuming it did not flop.AS i said and you said, we cant know for 100% that it did or did not unless we get a official source to tell so, but im guessing based on the informations we got so far.Im not saying that what i said is the absolute truth. So I dont get why you are trying to correct me.Im just making a educated guess based on the context given to us.Just as I said, and you said.
Dont confuse opinion with facts. Two very different things you know.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
