Buying a PS4 and PC is better than a buying a PS4 that dual boots as a steam box? I don't think so. The only way console platforms are relevant compared to PC are that you play on TV and console exclusive games. Steambox already negates one of those things. Which just leaves the console exclusive games, that will always remain relevant. |
So... you really believe that you could use a PlayStation 4 to run all PC games? :)
It is a mobile chipset in that thing... You need to run an OS on top of that, obviously not Windows but Linux, and then what some custom drivers (same if you reply me that you could "hack" Windows to run on that?
Yah, I believe that if you really want a PlayStation 4 and play PC games, you need both.
The PlayStation 4 is great for one thing: run PlayStation 4 games... Running PC game on that thing would require a lot of trouble.
Not accounting the fact that chances are you could not patch it anymore or you will not be able to use a hack to run your PC games... I mean I can go on and enumerate a lot of reasons why it would be a very poor choice...
