Those IPs would have died down without consoles. Like FIFA, for example, or CoD.

FiFA's biggest market is Germany, where PC gaming has always been strong. I don't think they would have died on PC, but less users than they have now with multiple supports would have been the case for sure.

CoD, as it is, however would have possibly gone the way of the Dodo, as there is much bigger concurrence on PC for the game. On the other hand, BlOps III, and BlOps II, MW2 and MW3 Multiplayer are all charting on Steams Top 100 right now. I just don't think they could keep it annualized if there was just the PC platform
