I think if it was the year before Microsoft would have killed it. But Sony decided that they wanted to win this holiday and just came out swinging...
I think Microsoft made a big mistake with Halo, and maybe the pricing, Tomb Raider vs. Fallout was probably also not the best thing for them.
I think in the end both had a good holiday, the ones was just better.
