I believe the original translation was good enough, but gaming sites misinterpretated it into the PS3 being weak and MGS4 not being good enough. I guess, when a developer is interviewed by americans they should always claim their game is fantastic. Itagaki has been doing this a long time, now Kojima grasped the concept as well.
I used to love Kotaku, but as time passed on I realized how fanboyish they were and how their satire went over-the-top. Their too proud to accept defeat, and this time Kotaku got pwned.
