I don't know about stepping down Aonuma. Maybe if you don't like him delaying games due to wanting to do more with Zelda U..But even that shows that Zelda U could be the most ambitious project Nintendo has ever partaken (even moreso than Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time). Plus, he made Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, A Link Between Worlds, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword. That's mightily impressive, even if some of them took a long time to develop. To me, he's done good so far.

Fire Emblem, historically, hasn't done particularly well on home consoles. I mean, Radiant Dawn was on the Wii and it barely sold half a million. The three highest selling games from the franchise are from handhelds (will be four once If/Fates releases in the US and other regions outside of Japan).

Miyamoto already mentioned he's not involved in the hardware process. He's helping the younger generation of developers to become future leaders.

I also don't know about Melee 2..especially since we've just got a game that includes Mario, Mega Man, Pac-Man, Ryu, Sonic, Cloud, and Bayonetta in the same game. Unless you're talking about gameplay mechanics, then I wouldn't mind.
