Don't worry, VR won't replace the "normal" gaming on TVs. Many genres aren't even suited for VR. VR will offer new gaming experiences that you can't get otherwise, some new genres or subgenres will be born. And a few existing genres will work very good in VR... For example slow paced exploration games like "The Vanishing of Ethan Carter" or suspense horror games like "Alien: Isolation". |
Honestly every genre is possible with vr. Even games where you expect it would not improve much are really great like for example blazerush: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3izKK8bNRA
Oh yeah the reason why I mention blazerush because it also re released for PS4 so would be an easy PS vr game.
