GT6's sales were revealed to be 2.37m this September, not 5m.

And that source was revealed as bogus (it used VGC numbers). And it was as of june 2014. And it was still VGC numbers. Meanwhile Polyphony recently disclosed GT shipment numbers again (they do it once in a while).

 

GT 6 shipments = 4.71m

Scroll down and you will find shipment numbers for all GT games as of 30th september 2015.

And I realize this is still shipments, but I figure it should be quite obvious that a game that had sold 2.37 million wouldn't have shipments twice as high as that.

 

i Think that Gran Turismo 6, was not a Flop in the series because the game sold only to the Previous gen Systems, when the Next generation already were out there, if Forza Horizon 2, were a Xbox 360 Exclusive, he would sell a lot less than it Sold.

2013 Was really a good year for Playstation 3.
