Sorry, i totally disagree. I hated Dragon Age inquisition. It hardly had any srory to speak up and was mostly a repetition game, much like all nowadays boring open worlds. I really wish they returned to the formula of the original, but they ruined the story so much already that i think that i'm done with it.
The evil within is just never felt like playing. I do have something where i have a sense of familiarity with the RE series and i just stick to it for the most part. Though fatal frame for the Wii U looked great from what i played.
2014 did see the release of Bound by flame though, wich has been one of my favorite games as of late. I so want to replay it, but don't have the time. Would love to plat it, and i'm also looking forward to the technomancer from the same developer next year.
Anyways i digress. This year had Xenoblade X, Fallout 4, RE revelations 2 and Syndicate actually feels like the best AC game since 2. I don't think this year was out of this world, but F4 and XenoX were 2 of my most antecipated games for a while.
