Halo 5 is an excellent game. The campaign is great, the multiplayer is amazing and all that in 60fps glory.

If Halo 5 ends up not selling as much as other Halo games it has nothing to do with the quality of the title but everything to do with X1's reputation.

I still don't get the major obsession some people have with 60 FPS in games and what it really adds overall. Maybe that it's just because by contrast I prefer greater graphical fidelity, or because unless there are really major frame rate crashes the higher rate isn't that noticeable.

Single only games that focus more on cinematics than fast gameplay are better at 30fps because it gives them a better movie feeling. But games that rely mostly on precision and fast reactions are better at 60fps. Driving games that require precision are better at 60fps while those that are more arcade it doesn't matter as precision isn't what is most important in those kind of games. The same applies to fps. Not all games are suited for 60fps though.
