I'd make a true sequel to Super Mario RPG, even if it bankrupts the company. Mark my words.

That'd take quite a lot of money to do... A Mario RPG with that kind of money would make a hell out of an RPG. Maybe they should just do an open world pokemon game then, haha..

I am wondering if an open world Pokemon game would actually work. Or something like an MMO? Pokemon has usually been known for being self-contained within certain regions and Game Freak (81 employees) is not known to develop on home consoles. I guess they can work with Nintendo EAD or something to make it work? But how would you insert over 700 Pokemon (and possibly counting) and make the world interesting to play in for hours and hours? Plus, what would it mean for the future of the franchise's mainline Pokemon games?
