This. I played something like 3 hours in months, found it boring and didn't care about it at all. And then I had to choose a few games for a vacation week away, and thought "Meh, I'll give it another try, I guess...". I played 60+ hours in less than a week, didn't want to stop playing until the end. So yes, slow beginning for an awesome game.
