| Entroper said: I don't have a 360. My PS3 is not backwards-compatible, but that doesn't matter, since I still have my PS2 hooked up. My retro gaming at the moment primarily consists of Castlevania: SotN. |
I'm not a fan of retro gaming so take this however you want. I own a 20G release PS3 with a 200G drive I put in myself. Full BC: I used it once. I played a level and turned it off, never to put another PS2 game in the system. I gave my PS2 and all it's games to a friend who had a bad one. (Consequently, my PS2 was a release PS2 and never had a problem with it. Gave it to him and a few weeks later, he had the disc read problem. I must take good care of my stuff because I never have problems. :p )
I have also "skipped the hype" with all the other GTA games. GTA 4 is my first, so I don't know what the others were like. I'm having a blast with this game. No problems, no "pop-in", few glitches, and pretty good story... at least so far.
I currently have:
RR7 (meh, when I was 13 I might have enjoyed it)
Blazing Angels (ok, not as bad as everyone makes it out)
Motorstorm (pretty fun, IMO)
Ninja Gaiden: Sigma (I probably would have skipped it had I played it... not a fan)
NFS: Carbon (I actually liked this game, swapping controllers with a friend, drinking, pizza, played it through twice)
Lair (I've been scared to play too much with all the negativity... played the first level, nice imagery.)
Warhawk (absolutley love this, and I hate console FPS games. Like you; I'd rather have a mouse/keyboard)
Dark Kingdom (I like this type of game, so I enjoyed every minute going through it with all the different classes)
Stuntman: Ignition (Pretty fun for a few hours/days. Get's repetitive and bland. Should rent though)
Ratchet and Clank (Love it. Period.)
Burnout Paradise (reaffirming that I will never buy another EA game until they bring Burnout back to it's roots)
GTA4 (currently playing it like it's stolen)
Flow (fun if you're bored, and I haven't been bored enough to play it much)
PixelJunk Monsters (fun if you have a friend to play with that likes this kind of tower defense game)
Have an eye toy, only have the one game where you drag stupid animals into doors. I can't even remember the name it sucks so much. Wish they'd hurry up with the Eye Toy games like Tank Wars
Oh, and welcome to the club.
It seems the mods need help with this forum. I have zero tolerance for trolling, platform criticism (Rule 4), and poster bad-mouthing (Rule 3.4) and you will be reported.
