Except this isnt even as big of a deal as what happened with Sony, but yet you make it look like it is. Steam wasnt Hacked, and as far as i know Valve has also never lost a large number of their users account infos. Its funny how it took the same group of people to come in here and try using this to say Valve now sucks. |
That's the absolute gem of this thread is that it didn't even start out like that, all that it was about was spreading important awareness info and people who don't give a rats ass about the Valve come in to swing mud and fud and now we're at that point and it was caused by folk who wanted to sling mud in the first place. I even posted TB's PSA vid that talked about Steam not being hacked and then of course we have reddit threads and other sites saying it wasn't hacked and that it was a cache issue and yet people still think that somehow equals to being a hack attack or something orchestrated from an outside party, because that isn't true it's now "valve sucks" and yet we still don't have full documented info as to how it happened and people are quick as anything to sling mud.
I'm also starting to ged fed up with ye old "I'm a PC gamer" because they own a custom part or own an ancient build or a PC they don't even bother to turn on to use as a reason to enter threads to sling mud, I could just as well trash the entire journalism society because I own a flipping typwriter and I can write essays or I can trash the buttered toast fanclub because I own an expensive toaster, there is a difference between being a fan and then using an object/name as a means to fling mud but not get caught out, it't not even a new or unheard of tactic, it exists and has been used in all walks of life throughout time.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
