Thats point, they dont pursuit anything, they just want to make great and beautiful Zelda game, they will choose art style that fits best for any Zelda game that is in development in that point.

And I already wrote you about market, they listening what their fans telling them they want, not market that doesn't love Zelda at all.

Appealing only to the fans who will buy it anyway is foolish though, that only limits your potential audience. There are enough Zelda fans to support Wind Waker/Skyward Sword levels of sales. To reach Twilight Princess levels, you need to reach beyond just the established fanbase.

No, foolish is to make something that people actually buy your product dont want, that would be really foolish. Also Zelda U art style is far more appealing than WW/SS and almost everybody like it, reception about art style and graphics Zelda U were great.

Again, didn't had that sales because of art style and more dark look.
