Me? Well I think GTA is an obscenely overated black hole that sucks away resources that could go to Rockstar's other, more interesting IP. If I heard tomorrow that they were shelving GTA for the foreseeable future and instead making a Red Dead Redemption 2 and a sequel to LA Noir, I would throw a freaking party. While GTA creates fun sandboxes to fart around in, it excels at nothing else. It certainly doesn't deserve to be the franchise with one of the highest average metascores of all time.
