Yes it is. First of all, your answer was to BMaker11 as to why PC/PS4 games are called ''console exclusives'' and that XBO/PC are often not considered by many as console exclusives was not relevant. No one was talking about whether a game was first or third-party.
Second, sound logic would entail that if a game is XBO+PC=XBO irrelevant, then a game that is PS4+PC=PS4 irrelevant. Period. When people choose which console to buy, they consider ''exclusives'', and whether an exclusive is first-party or third-party is pedantics. An argument could be made that PS4 will end up with more console exclusives, but that was not the argument at hand, the argument was what ''consistensy'' is, and it is that if XBO+PC=XBO irrelevant, then PS4+PC=PS4 irrelevant.
Finally, if we are to include strategies, MS's strategy is to focus on first-party.

while Sony

Does that really mean a better or worse future for one or the other? MS is fully concentrated on publishing its own games, and Sony is actively working on getting some third-party games along normal first-party output too. Both Sony and MS are going according to their plan, nothing wrong with that.

LOL. "No one was talking about whether a game was first or third-party.".
Right.
Let me quote again the said BMaker11's post I was answering to...

Let's be consistent from now on. When PS4 gets a bunch of titles that are PS4/PC, we happily say "console exclusive" and that since it's not on XBOne, it doesn't mean anything that the games are on PC.
So, when XBOne games go PC, but not PS4, it's not "losing exclusives". Not on PS4, so it doesn't matter that they're on PC.
With that said, the fact that it's first party games is interesting. The point of first party games is that they're only on your console. You'll never see Mario or Uncharted on PC. Granted, it's Microsoft, and games like Halo have been on PC so it's not unprecedented. But also, on the onset of this gen, they were pretty stern about 1st party games not coming to PC and it's happening anyway

Nuff' said.
Not going to change my mind about what I think Sony's and MS's strategies are. I don't expect any Xbox fan to agree with me (exactly like when we fought for a long time about the importance of 1st party games for the Holliday sales). It's prospective thinking, we can't prove each other wrong (except for when you can't read a post like above), we'll see in a few months/years.

Ok about the Bmaker11 part.
But the gist of what I am saying refers to this:
''If third party games are PS4/PC and Sony games are PS4, then it makes the Xbox one irrelevant and help the PS4.
If MS games are Xbox One and PC, then it also makes the Xbox One irrelevant.''
I am pointing out that if we were to follow your logic, the PS4 should only benefit from a third-party game if it is fully exclusive. But if the third-party makes it PS4/PC, then the fact that a PC version exists makes the PS4 version irrelevant, as PC is the determining factor in the XBO+PC part. Hypothetically, if the XBO is irrelevant because a lot of its selling points (exclusives) are actually just console exclusives, then if a lot of the PS4 selling points are also just console exclusives, then that questions the relevancy of having a PS4 also. Whether those console exclusive games are from the first-party itself (MS) or a third-party in PS4's case doesn't really matter.
If you mean that PS4 in general would be more preferable to various tastes because it has more console exclusives, then I agree. But .I disagree with the logic of discarding the importance of the Xbox One's console exclusives and not doing the same for PS4 console exclusives.
