It was no big deal until you told him. People and specially women are cruel and shallow, this was bound to happen to someone like him. He would actually learn how to doubt people, which is a good thing in both practical and philosophical sense(read Liar Game). But now he sees you as a thug. And probably thinks being an irresponsible delinquent is the right way to deal with women. You really fucked up.
