TP was very hyped game (that E3 reveal give me chills every time I watched it..), but game itself turns out that was average Zelda game. WW had very bad reception on revile and on launch from fans, but ended with sales of 4.5m on GC and become one of the most loved Zelda, while TP being launch title on Wii with 5x better instal base manage to sell around 3m more, atach rate is around 20% for WW vs around 7.5% for TP. And TP being launch title on Wii affect very much on sales.
