I'm all for episodic gaming.
Asking people 60 bucks a pop for a game is a lot for something they may or may not like. This is a barrier that prevents people from trying new things, and makes people less likely to get into gaming in general.
Letting people play part of the game for a small fee before deciding if they like it or not is a good idea. As long as each episode is given at a fair price and it makes sense for the genre. I would prefer though if the full version were made available as well.
