Imagine an Elder Scrolls game done by a japanese company. Add to the combat a Monster Hunter / Shadow of the Colossus / Dark Souls flavor, mix it all with a charming (although relatively small) world, a cliché storyline with some out of this world plot twists and memorable sequences and you get your result.
EDIT: you cheeky bastard. You forced me to choose Dead Rising in your poll, although I really felt tempted to say Dragon's Dogma.
