JEMC said: I think no one will be surprised by what I'm going to say, but our little PC builds project is pretty much dead. To HoloDust, Chazore and Bofferbrauer, the only three that took some time to take part on it, thank you. I'm very grateful for that, but unfortunately it wasn't enough. HoloDust did make a couple of $700 build and even a $1,000 one, all of them excellent, as well as an extra $500 PC that drived me nuts when I tried to do it in Euros, but unless I've missed it, not the $1,300 one. Bofferbrauer joined the fun building a 500€ PC that wasn't part of the original plan, but was a good machine (and was also better than mine), and Chazore did an attempt at building a £500 PC but couldn't make more because he had problems to solve (how's your RAM? Does it finally work or have you RMA'd it?). We're 6 days off Christmas and in my opinion that leaves us with no time to make the rest of the builds, discuss them to find a build that we all can agree with (because otherwise it's just our personal opinion on what a PC of X budget should be, and an opinion is like ass, everybody has one) and make a thread for those who are planning to buy or build a new PC this holidays. Therefore, I'm sorry to make you waste your time, but it's Game Over. |
That's too bad, considering I got another build here, one for an 850€ PC. Guess I'll just post it anyway:

I wanted to take 2 Casefans but I was over budget already, so I limited myself to one. I could have taken a cheaper Motherboard but I wanted to use one with M.2 support
