#1: Red Dead Redemption - The deep story, interesting characters, amazing world, engaging gameplay and fantastic wild life and hunting all made this a masterpiece. probably my favorite game out of 7th gen
#2: Killzone 2 - The single player was fantastic, it literally made me feel like i was on a battlefield. but this gems best moments where in its multiplayer. its dynamic 7 mission multiplayer mode "warzone" was the best multiplayer i ever played. every match was different. due to dynamically changing the missions rotations, and the fact that spawning points where chosen by the players them selfs. so the flow of each match was different. levels were big and that suited perfectly for the 32 players in the map, and the maps where awesome. the game was balanced as well.
#3: Call of Duty MW2 - I have played CoD4 with my neighbor, but my first real entry in the CoD franchise was with MW2, and one that hasnt been topped until now. its multiplayer was purely addictive. its prestige's (one that me and my brothers i reached 10 with, mind you) was fantastic. its maps were well made. it has its issues, but they never really pushed me away. this game is the most game i have ever played in my entire life. i spend SO much time with it. purely epic.
#4: GoW3 - The grand finale of kratos's epic saga. the boss battles, the epic scale, the amazing combat makes this game a masterpiece. best boss battles i have ever played, and Posidions battle is still the best boss battle i have ever enjoyed, as well as the best into to a game i have ever experienced by far.
#5 Uncharted 3 - while most people prefer UC2. i think UC3 trumps it. i loved the story mode, its was an amazing and epic ride. but its multiplayer was also fantastic. epic action and great combat. it was one of the best multiplayers i have ever played.
honorable mention is The Last of us and AC2. TLoU is probably the most well made game i ever played, and truly a masterpiece, however at the moment, i feel i should have mentioned the games above. also i more into action adventure games, where TLoU is more of a stealth and survival game. though if i were making the list any given time, TLoU could easily be in there or even top it.
